- The only meaningful years are the first two columns. The last column is used only to record sailing mileage since it wasn't on our boat.
- Went from 142 to 59 nights in marinas (about a 1/3 of first year).
- Ran motor about same amount percentage-wise both years.
- Sailed a little less but visited inland a little more.
- Since selling dinghy and motor and using only kayaks, usage of fuel went down 75% - only used for the generator to top off batteries when solar panels don't get enough sun.

Referring URLs
|
- Since traveling to French Polynesia, traffic source has moved much more from Europe and many smaller countries.
- If you don't believe in the power of advertising, just look at the referring URLs. When I wrote about Day of the Dead, the most URL referrals came from vampirestats! When I wrote about Red Neck Island (a type of reality TV show we saw being filmed in Barra de Navidad), it became the most common URL referral. Finally visiting a French area, brought the referrals from Google.france.
- I cannot explain why so much traffic is being led to the Altavista Petroglyphs post.

Main differences:
- Year one - since we were new at sailing, we ended up spending more time in marinas due to lack of knowledge, a little fear/apprehension, but mostly for repairs. We didn't have to spend that much on repairs during second year (1/2 amount of first year).
- Year two - we spent less time in marinas and moved the money saved to enjoy more in-land visits
- Year tree - visiting without a boat is much more expensive. Had we been able to visit French Polynesia aboard Déjàlà, our monthly costs would've been around $1,800/month rather than nearly $6,000 (1/3). Nearly 70% of the cost of being in FP came from hotels/pensions and airfare.
- The most difficult thing about not sailing is that it makes it more difficult to share with the people you visit with. We don't have tools to help them fix things nor kitchen and food to offer them meals, etc. We also didn't have our diving gears or kayaks so we had to rent these when needed. We are therefore much more dependent on the locals...
