Ironman 70.3 Campeche

The cure for anything is salt water -
tears,
sweat,
or the sea.

Closing ceremony – Nikki had to be there
Mike just finished his very first Ironman 70.3 in Campeche Mexico this Sunday March 19th, 2017.  After five months of preparation he made it to the finish line ‘alive’.

Waiting for the swim to start – thank you Ironman Campeche
Bikes by the water, ready to ride after the swim – thank you Ironman Campeche
Very exciting and so proud of him.

Proof of finishing 'alive'
From sailing to swimming, biking, and running – while still exploring new places.  These two are not necessarily mutually exclusive, it just takes a little organization and commitment.

Official times
Transition from bike to run
So – kudos!

See you in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, next… and then maybe Cartagena, Colombia.

Going to town after triathlon.
Legs still showing his age group "I", and number 985.
